The power consumption of the PSA system is mainly concentrated on the air compressor, eliminating the need for high-power frequency converters equipped for equipment such as turbine expanders in the cryogenic method. Meanwhile, the system generates less heat and has a much lower demand and reliance on cooling water than cryogenic air separation, reducing the cost of public utility facilities.
