Nitrogen Gas Plant Working Principle
Nitrogen Gas Plant: Based on the principle of pressure swing adsorption, high-quality carbon molecular sieves are used as adsorbents. Under a certain pressure, due to the effect of dynamic action, the diffusion rates of oxygen and nitrogen on the carbon molecular sieves are different. A large number of oxygen molecules are adsorbed by the carbon molecular sieves. Nitrogen molecules accumulate in the gas phase, thereby achieving the separation of oxygen and nitrogen.
Because the adsorption capacity of carbon molecular sieves for oxygen changes significantly with pressure, reducing the pressure can adsorb the oxygen molecules adsorbed by the carbon molecular sieves, allowing the carbon molecular sieves to be regenerated and reused.
Two adsorption tower processes are adopted. One is for adsorption and nitrogen production, and the other is for desorption and regeneration, alternating and continuously producing high-quality nitrogen.
