The engineers team of Nuzhuo go to Angola to debug the cryogenic project: NZDONAr-180-500-3
Recently, Nuzhuo's engineering team was dispatched to Angola to successfully complete the on-site commissioning and delivery of a deep cryogenic air separation equipment of the model NZDONAr-180-500-3. This equipment is a deep cryogenic oxygen-nitrogen-argon combined production unit, capable of simultaneously producing three high-purity industrial gases - oxygen, nitrogen, and argon. It provides crucial gas support for key industrial projects in Angola. The successful implementation of this project once again demonstrates Nuzhuo's technical strength and overseas service capabilities in the field of deep cryogenic air separation, earning high recognition from customers.
As the core equipment of this project, the Nuzhuo NZDONAr-180-500-3 deep cryogenic air separation unit adopts a mature and reliable low-temperature distillation process, with a comprehensive production capacity of 180 tons of liquid oxygen per day, 500 tons of liquid nitrogen, and 3 tons of liquid argon. The equipment is designed in a modular manner, featuring high integration and a small footprint, making it suitable for overseas projects with limited on-site construction conditions. In terms of technical path, Nuzhuo has optimized the main heat exchange system, the structure of the distillation tower internals, and the control logic of the expander, significantly reducing the energy consumption of the entire unit while ensuring the high-quality output of gas with oxygen purity ≥ 99.6%, nitrogen purity ≤ 3ppm O₂, and argon purity ≥ 99.999%.
It is worth noting that this equipment can flexibly switch between oxygen, nitrogen, and argon or extract all three simultaneously, significantly enhancing the economic efficiency and resource utilization of users' gas consumption. Oxygen is widely used in metal smelting, medical oxygen supply, and wastewater treatment; nitrogen can be used in chemical protection, food controlled atmosphere packaging, and electronic manufacturing; while high-purity argon is an indispensable protective gas in high-end manufacturing fields such as special welding, photovoltaic crystal pulling, and metal refining. With one set of equipment covering three gas categories, it not only reduces customers' repeated investment in a single gas but also lowers the complexity of subsequent operation and maintenance, and is particularly suitable for regional markets in Africa and South America where the industrial gas supply chain is still under development.
