The Chinese cryogenic air separation equipment KDON-70(67Y)/108(80Y) has been successfully installed in the Russian project.
October 25, 2025 - Recently, the deep cooling air separation equipment KDON-70(67Y)/108(80Y) provided by Chinese enterprises has entered the critical installation stage in a large-scale industrial project in Russia, marking a further deepening of cooperation between China and Russia in high-end equipment manufacturing.
Project Background
This equipment was designed and manufactured by a leading domestic manufacturer of air separation equipment. It employs advanced deep cryogenic distillation technology to efficiently separate air and produce high-purity oxygen (70 Nm³/h) and nitrogen (108 Nm³/h), meeting the demands of the local metallurgical, chemical or energy industries in Russia.
Installation progress
At present, the core components of the equipment have been hoisted and are now in the system debugging stage. The Chinese and Russian technical teams are working closely together to ensure that the equipment meets international standards and local industrial regulations. The smooth progress of this project not only enhances Russia's independent ability to supply industrial gases, but also provides a successful case for China's high-end equipment to "go global".
This cooperation has further strengthened the strategic partnership between China and Russia in the field of industrial technology. In the future, the two sides are expected to carry out cooperation on more high-end manufacturing projects.
