For a long time, there has been a common misconception in the industry. The energy consumption of adsorption dryers is simply equated with the regeneration air consumption rate. Although the non-thermal regeneration type has a relatively low initial cost, its 15% to 30% consumption of the final product gas essentially amounts to continuous waste of the working capacity of the air compressor. Even if upgraded to a micro-thermal regeneration type, although the air consumption rate can be reduced to 5% to 7%, the additional power consumption of the electric heater constitutes a new energy burden.

The solution strategy of NUZHUO lies in "heat recovery" rather than "gas consumption". Its compression heat regenerative adsorption drying system directly uses the 100-140℃ high-temperature compressed air discharged from the final stage of the air compressor as the regeneration heat source. The essence of this technical route is "transforming waste into treasure": the compressed heat that would otherwise be lost through a cooler is utilized to heat the adsorbent in the regeneration tower, allowing the moisture in the adsorbent to desorb under high pressure. Since the regeneration process takes place in a closed loop, the gas heated and cooled stages are ultimately all recovered to the system pipeline network, achieving a truly "zero gas consumption" operation.

Although traditional compression heat recovery technology is highly energy-efficient, it generally faces the limitation that the dew point cannot exceed -20℃, which restricts its application in high-demand fields such as precision manufacturing, electronics, and medicine. NUZHUO has overcome this contradiction through the "two-stage heating regeneration" process: The first stage uses the air compressor's compression heat to remove approximately 80% of the moisture from the adsorbent; the second stage introduces a booster pump to extract approximately 4% to 10% of the finished gas, which is then re-heated by an electric heater before undergoing "deep desorption" on the adsorption tower.
Based on the application case of NUZHUO serving a large steel enterprise, after transforming the traditional micro heat regeneration dryer into a zero gas consumption compression heat regeneration model, by recovering the waste heat of the air compressor, not only the loss of product gas was eliminated (equivalent to saving the supply capacity of more than one air compressor), but also the main power-consuming unit of the electric heater was removed. Comparative data show that the comprehensive operating energy consumption of the zero gas consumption waste heat regeneration technology is 15% - 30% lower than that of the non-heat regeneration model, and saves approximately two-thirds of the electricity cost compared to the external forced air heating model.
NUZHUO's equipment is also equipped with an intelligent control system based on differential pressure sensing and dew point monitoring. It can automatically optimize the timing of tower body switching according to the actual load, avoiding the "pressure difference switching" problem that occurs due to improper timing control. This industry-recognized chronic issue not only causes the adsorbent to powderize and the valves to be damaged, but also reduces the adsorption efficiency by approximately 12.5%.
