Working principle:Based on the principle of pressure swing adsorption, high-quality carbon molecular sieves are used as adsorbents. Under certain pressures, due to the kinetic effect, the diffusion rates of oxygen and nitrogen in the carbon molecular sieve are significantly different. By taking advantage of the fact that oxygen molecules are adsorbed preferentially by the carbon molecular sieve, nitrogen molecules are enriched in the gas phase, achieving the separation of oxygen and nitrogen.
Since the adsorption capacity of carbon molecular sieves for oxygen varies significantly with pressure, reducing the pressure allows the adsorbed oxygen molecules to be desorbed, regenerating the carbon molecular sieve and enabling its repeated use in a cycle.
The process uses two adsorption towers, with one tower adsorbing to produce nitrogen and the other desorbing and regenerating. The towers alternate in a cycle, continuously producing high-purity nitrogen gas.
Application

Technical Characteristics
1.Air Compressor: Air is compressed at a low pressure of 5-7 bar (0.5-0.7 MPa) using the latest compressors (Screw/Centrifugal type).
2.Pre-Cooling System: The second stage of the process involves using a refrigerant to pre-cool the processed air to a temperature of around 12°C before it enters the purifier.
3.Purification of Air by Purifier: The air enters a purifier consisting of twin molecular sieve dryers that function alternately. The molecular sieve separates carbon dioxide and moisture from the process air before it reaches the air separation unit.
4.Cryogenic Cooling of Air by Expander: The air must be cooled to sub-zero temperatures for liquefaction. Cryogenic refrigeration is provided by a highly efficient turbo expander, which cools the air to temperatures below -165°C to -170°C.
5.Separation of Liquid Air into Oxygen and Nitrogen by Air Separation Column: The air that enters the low-pressure late fin-type heat exchanger is moisture-free, oil-free, and carbon dioxide-free. It is cooled inside the heat exchanger to sub-zero temperatures through the air expansion process in the expander. A temperature difference as low as 2°C is expected at the warm end of the exchangers. The air is liquefied when it reaches the air separation column and is separated into oxygen and nitrogen through the process of rectification.
6.Liquid Oxygen Stored in a Liquid Storage Tank: Liquid oxygen is filled into a storage tank that is connected to the liquefier, forming an automatic system. A hose is used to take liquid oxygen from the tank.
