Oxygen Manufacturing Plant Workflownt
The oxygen manufacturing plant employs the renowned PSA technology. Two pressurized containers filled with zeolite ensure that the separation process of oxygen from other gases can proceed continuously.
An oxygen generator consists of two pressure vessels for storing zeolite.
The dry compressed air is sent to the first vessel through a valve, and during this process, the pressure will rise to 4 to 8 bars. During the pressure increase, the unwanted gases in the air will be adsorbed by the zeolite, while oxygen will flow out through the collection tank.
When the pressure in one vessel rises, the other vessel undergoes regeneration through pressure reduction. This process ensures a continuous flow of gas. Before the subsequent adsorption or desorption stage, the pressure between the adsorption vessels will reach equilibrium. When the pressure in the first vessel drops and the zeolite reaches saturation, the waste product will be discharged through the exhaust system. At this point, the pressure in the second vessel will increase until the pressure between the two vessels reaches equilibrium again.
