It cools the forward-flowing air to a temperature close to the liquefaction temperature while reheating the backflow products, oxygen and nitrogen, to the ambient temperature, reducing cold loss

Once the set-points are reached, the AI-driven controller manages all variable frequency drives (VFDs) and pneumatic valves autonomously.
